mock dirt

1) Sound was used in the extract in many ways for example there was diegetic sound like the background music in the cafe when the officers are sat around a table and discussing their day after this there becomes a panicked diegetic radio call which shows us dramatisation and mystery. Later on during the car chase we hear the diegetic screeching of the tyres and sirens which creates suspense and adrenaline.

2) Camera work is used to show the polices point of view rather than the criminals because they show the criminals through a cctv camera which is from a high angle shot showing how the criminals down upon however the police are always shown from a close up shot or a low angle shot to show how they are looked in a superior way. Mise-en-scene is used to show this in a way where the criminals are mostly wearing baggy, unprofessional and unclean clothes whereas police officers are always in smart uniform making themselves look well presented as well as looking well off with money.

4) Public service broadcasting includes radio, television and other electronic media outlets who's primary mission is public service.

5) During the 1960's there was a pop art trend and you can see this in the first scene when the camera panned to the door where there a pop art eye which opened
