There are many different genre conventions within this poster including thriller, this genre is the most obvious because there is people running away from a villain and the colour pallet creates the look of a thriller film. You can also see friendship as they are all running away from something together.
Explain how the following elements on the poster appeal to the TARGET AUDIENCE:
- Title- this would appeal to children because its about children
- Tagline- this would appeal to many people because it gives an insight into what the film is going to be about
- Main image (characters)- this would appeal to children as it shows the LEGO characters
- Main image (setting)- this would appeal to a few target audiences because it is set in a city but the colour pallet is showing how there is a sense of evil within the story line.

- In the main image its the stereotype of a thrilling kids film therefore it attracts the target audience
- In Emmet's poster the expression on his face will attract the target audience
